Master bedroom
Our new (very noisy) alarm clock. It's tick-tock is lovely and quiet, but its bbbbrrrrrrring could rouse the dead! Should come in handy for those 6 am starts in February!
(A badger in every room)...this is mini badger - he cost me a pound and is just the teeniest, tiniest little badger ever.
(A badger in every room...) A badger plate (we have a few of these - ta very much, ebay!)
Fingal Finger-Badger chillaxing...
Our lovely picture, which we have yet to hang. What is it with moving and artwork?
This is our draught excluder, sent to us as a housewarming present from lovely Cat. He's both adorable and functional :) I just need to name him now...
Ah. Makes me sleepy just looking at it!
'Claire-lair'
'Claire-lair'
The Claire-lair is also known as our spare room, but as it contains my desk and laptop, my shelves of books and a very comfy bed upon which I can sprawl and read, I spend a goodly amount of my time in here!
I love this little stack of boxes, a gift from T.dot, one of my pupils last year. I think they might come in handy for hiding Matthew presents later in the year too - aren't they just begging to be filled with goodies, wrapped, and stashed under the tree?
We shall see - first heart post will be on the 31st, where I'll be assessing July & August together....I'm hoping for 5 - 7 pounds over summer break. Will the visit home next week help or hinder this ambition, I wonder?

I love the alarm clock, so cute! And the to-read pile! And I think your heart vase is such a beautiful and inspirational idea.
Thanks for showing us your place. I feel like I got to know you so much more through this little tour.
Mmmm candy.
That alarm clock is so lovely. As is your home and your welcome:)
I love it. It's like visiting the Paperchase store!
Great stuff! I won't badger you about where you bought it all.
All the best, Boonsong
I love all of your pictures. I don't think I could sleep with a tick tock alarm clock, but it is very nice.
That's a cool motivation strategy that you have devised!
Just tell me if you want to get rid of your very noisy alarm clock, my hubby is in desperate need=)
