As much as I do love Christmas (you guys got that I love Christmas, right?), there's something nice about getting back to it. Add in the fact that I am feeling more energised and ooooh, about eleventy million times more like me and you have quite the recipe for deliciousness. And a good night's sleep, let me tell you (I am sleeping like a log at the moment!).
School is well and truly back into the swing of things and the boys have really hit the ground running - I am very proud of them and hope they sustain this! We are having a tonne of fun working, reading, playing and learning...and at Mystery Club today I even taught the boys how to play Penny Can!
Everything else is waking up too...Junior League is back on, the gym is calling my name (no matter how much I may try to avoid it) and the diary is filling up quite nicely with drinks and dinners and girldates. Stir in the new year's ambitions I have on the table and the mix is quite heady.
In a fabulous way.
How's your January going, lovelies? Good? Exciting? Unseasonably warm (for reals, London is tasty at the moment - 10 degrees in January?)?

Thanks for the Penny Can film. :) I have never heard of that game. Maybe I can practice at work today.
So glad to hear it is going well. Some days are kicking my butt at the moment but I seem to be able to not let that impact on my week, so hopefully it will keep up - I am particularly loving the January sunshine we have been getting though. Sunshine!
My Janurary is full of sleep deprivation, for obvious reasons.
Sounds like you're off to a great start! I'm sleeping well, too, which makes me more energetic and full of life. Love it when I wake up renewed!!
Never played Penny Can, but everyone makes it look like the thing to do. Must try it sometime with the kiddies!
I need more dinners, drinks and GNOs (Girls Night Out)! It's a beautiful time of year to get out and enjoy those outdoor cafes here in Miami!!
LOL Penny can, sure I can teach the kids :)
