Pinterest: Classroom Funkiness!

There is so much wonderfulness out there on Pinterest for teachers, homeschoolers and parents. I am forever picking up great ideas! I think over the summer I'm going to have a bif of a planathon and a classroom sort and work some of these things (and the many other things I've pinned!) into my own room and practice.

From weheartit.com

Stars in Jars! My boys would go absolutely nuts for this! We do a space topic and this could inspire some great instructional writing, and poetry too!

From blogs.scholastic.com

I am doing this with my Year 5 class tomorrow! We need to escape 'said', STAT.

From twothingsincommon.blogspot.com

Loads of great organisation tips on this blog, not least this gem - displays in ziploc bags. WHY HADN'T I THOUGHT OF THIS? Genius!

Oh helloes, printable Scrabble tiles! English + Maths + fun!

From fabulous-fourth.blogspot.com

Love this spin on having the children describe themselves. This is happening in our form, soon!

From teacherweb.com

One day my classroom will be this organised. I am going to keep at it!

From etsy.com

Modge-podged pegs for display. So clever - an so easy to change out!

From letslassothemoon.com

This has some cute apps for wee folk. My boys would just want to play Angry Birds, haha!

From etsy.com

Cookie sheet...fabric....epic cute magnetic board!

From ebay.com

Love this bright poster with synonyms. We may make our own!

From mycasestudies.blogspot.com

Wine rack and cups. Too clever by half!

From cookingwiths.blogspot.com

This is what I have the boys think of when they contribute to our blog!

From google.com

I'm going to share this with Year 5 and then we can make our own grammar guide!

I love Pinterest - so many great ideas for teaching!

You should review said apps with the boys, hell you might get paid for it.

That first pic is so neat! And I wish I would have had the "other ways to say 'said'" back when I was a reporter.
