7 weeks of excitement, shopping, anticipation, baking, planning, wrapping and writing.
Watching Christmas movies. Planning Christmas fun. Drinking festive coffees.
Yes. Oh heavens yes.
As I type I can hear the last few Bonfire Night fireworks crackling outside. Now the run to Christmas, in all its cosy lovely fun, begins :)
I'd never heard of The Elf on the Shelf until I started reading lots of lovely American bloggers who do it for their children. I think it's fantastic, and am now sure to pass on my class address to the elves each December so they can raise some Christmassy mischief with us as well. :)
This is such a beautiful idea. You collect money all year, and then do a 'ring and run' to gift it to someone. I am so going to try this next year, when we will have been here long enough to guess who might need it most. I think for this year I'll save my pennies for some treats at the shelters I help at :)
I am so excited for our annual Christmas drinks, and while I'm generally more of a 'heat the mulled wine and dust the shop bought pies with icing sugar' kind of hostess, I'll certainly be trying some of these cute things!
Note to self: pick up some branches. What a superb way of displaying holiday cards! One of my absolute favourite things about the season.
This would be so great for teacher or potluck gifts! I love the washer as a buckle!
To quote Liz Lemon, "I want to go to there."
How long so you think these would last in my classroom? Ha!
So, I'm excited already. When do you start getting the pre Christmas glees, my lovelies?
