This picture is of a town in Holland where there are no roads. Canals, paths and cycle tracks are the only way to get around. I love the cycling bias in the low countries anyway, but this is super!
I am currently cooking up an English lesson series based on this video for my class! At the moment they are *obsessed* with facts (as am I!), and I think learning capital cities will be fun for them, as well as challenging their reading/listening skills. I don't think we'll necessarily do the state capitals, but I'll definitely be sharing the video for the fun factor!
My thoughts exactly! For the most part I'm a Pinterest fan, but there are some things I just see and think....hhhhhmmmmm. I think I'll go read a book/take a walk/do some housework instead! I'm always hugely impressed by some of my friends beautiful manicures though, I must say! The moment I put nail polish on it's like a beacon goes out into the universe saying "Attack! Attack!" to every piece of fluff/sharp thing in the cosmoverse.
This band is wicked cool. So funny!
I seriously think I should consider this. After reading What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast I became more convinced than ever that I needed to get up earlier and get stuff done (exercising, writing, blog stuff) ahead of the work day. But man, is it tricky for a night owl like me. I'm hoping I can stick with it.
I love The Office, and Jim and Dwight just crack me up all the time. Things like the above explains why!
And all the girls with mad, thick, curly Celtish hair said, "Amen!"
