They say a picture tells a thousand words.
In that case, brace yourselves for 2,400 words.
The High Line is one of the places in New York that Matthew and I knew we had to go when we visited the city. A truly unique park in the heart of Manhattan, we had such fun walking the length of the trail. The mixture of greenery, the urban areas it traversed, and the hints at the railroad which preceded it made the whole experience one to treasure. I could waffle on at length, but in this post I think I'll let the pictures do the talking...
Well worth a visit, this park is a truly unusual and interesting spot.

The Highline is one of my favourite places to spend an afternoon in NY
ReplyDeleteUm...what was that man in underpants doing? Was it performance art or was he a nut case? lol!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd known about it when I was in New York a bajillion years ago. I have to go back some time and when I do I have to go there!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the high line! One of my top things to do in New York for sure
ReplyDeleteThe high line is definitely a personal fave along with Central park - think its the greenery within such a crazy city! x
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get to do the Highline on our 2013 visit - all walked out! - but it's definitely on the list when we return!
