Not one member of my family has got changed all day. Is that wrong? If it is, I’m not sure I want to be right!
Anyway, I have an excuse, as I am still being plagued by the evil cold from hell (ECFH), and the slightest provocation kicks off yet another coughing fit. At its best its all a bit fragile, a la Nicole Kidman in ‘Moulin Rouge’, at others it’s more like my lung is simply trying to exit my body. Nice.
But it’s going to be gone by tomorrow.
I’ve been telling myself that since Thursday. So much for your self fulfilling prophecies.
So, as the PJs would suggest, it’s been very lowkey here today. My parents and siblings have all been trying to get me to eat something, which has resulted in much standing in front of the fridge going “Hmmmmmph. Y’know, I’m not really hungry.” And we’ve watched lots of TV (because really, who does anything on new years day?) – The Sarah Jane Adventures (awesome, really good in that slightly tongue-in-cheek, slightly B movie Russell T Davies style), The Vicar of Dibley (slightly contrived, but sweet nonetheless) and Sugababes Greatest Hits (don’t you judge me!).
I hope your 2007 has been all kinds of relaxed, fun and wonderful. But I really hope I can leave the house (and breathe normally, plllleeeeease) tomorrow.
Love you guys,
