…I’m loving the fact that the sun is back. I’m glad the rain came and gave the plants and flowers a good long drink, but now I’m happy to be back in the weather for cute skirts and shoes.

…I’m loving making time to read books again…in the last month I’ve devoured Join Me, The Dirty Bits For Girls, Them – Adventures With Extremists, This Book Will Save Your Life, and Love Is A Mixtape. And now I’ve just started Freedom in Exile and do you know what? It totally has me hooked thus far. Who knew the Dalai Lama was such a funny guy?

…I’m loving getting back on form – my shoulder and neck thing is giving me much less pain now and I’m limiting my meds. And the cold is almmmmost out the door.

…I’m loving the wee bit of pocket money that babysitting and tutoring is giving me. It’s not a great hill of beans, by any means, but it’s giving me money for books and CDs and visits to friends, so you won’t hear me complaining.

…I’m loving that it’s nearly half-term. Sure, I have lots to do, but I can do it whilst catching up with lovely people, sporadically lazing in the sun, and having cheeky lie-ins.

…I’m loving fooling around with my hair and makeup and jewellery and basically being a girl.

…I’m loving the impending randomness of June that lies waiting like a dog in the sun.

…I’m loving all the new music I’m digging at the mo, and I’m hungry for more. But what should I buy? Patrick Watson? The Manics? The Besnard Lakes? Rufus Wainwright? Tori Amos? I just don’t know. Can I buy them all? Probably not, alas…so what purchases do you guys advise?

…I am loving writing letters, and sending postcards, cards and little packages. This was so my thing for so long, and now I’m getting back into it. If you’d like a postcard or something, drop me an email with your addy ( I’ll so do it.

…I’m loving reading the NME (as much as it annoys me sometimes) to learn about new music, Hello to make me titter and crave a posh name of my own, and The Independent On Sunday to remind me there may actually be a mind left under all the nursery rhymes, primary colours and inane childlike prattle.

…I’m loving my pink pyjamas, and my Frank Turner tee, and my new flared jeans, and my cute shade, and my silk skirt with the swirls on.

…I’m loving texts and hugs and emails and comments and just all the goodness right now.

…I’m loving Ugly Betty and House. And I’m looking forward to watching the sure-to-be-car-crash-tastic American Idol final on Saturday with Banana and a decent sore head from Friday night!

…I’m loving the schedule for July I’ve just seen….I’m going to be exhausted, but in such a good way 🙂

So, currently?

I’m pretty good, thanks.

How are you?

Love is a Mixtape… I like the title of that book. Is it fiction or non?I’ve got the new Tori and I love it. Any Toriphile will enjoy it muchly. I’ve purchased the new Rufus, but haven’t had time to really get into it yet. I love the first two songs a lot so far.I just watched the AI performance show. I was entertained…

Love is a mixtape… that sounds so, hmmm, er, sort-attention-span-ish…NME is a decent read every once in a while. I found it to be either slurping or attacking artists. It never seems to me to be that fair.
