What do you believe in?

I believe in kindness, and the power it holds.

I believe our past is part of us, but not all of us.

I believe in honesty, and trusting yourself, and trusting others (as much as you are able to).

I believe in dancing and singing and moving.

I believe in the future.

I believe in nature and beauty and starry skies and sunrises and the water.

I believe in freedom.

I believe in setting an example, and learning from examples.

I believe in forgiveness, and working on it when you have to.

I believe in the power of listening.

I believe in friendship.

I believe in manners.

I believe in late night conversations.

I believe in taking the time and making the time.

I believe in hope, and the danger and beauty it brings.

I believe in lie-ins and rainy pyjama days.

I believe in long and lingering kisses.

I believe in happiness and the choice to be happy.

I believe in love and the adventures love brings.

I believe in growing and changing.

I believe in looking after others and yourself.

I believe in telling people how amazing they are.

I believe in letting go of the things and people and situations that harm you. As hard as that can be.

I believe in sending notes and letters.

I believe that everyone’s time is valuable.

I believe in music, and it’s power to move and heal and touch.

I believe in hugs that envelop you and comfort and touch you and reconnect you to something primal and easy.

I believe that believing in people is a powerful thing.
