And with a whoosh and a whirl, the end of term is here.
Sat in my classroom, surrounded by the debris of learning a la little boys, reeling from the exertions of the last few weeks, it’s hard to believe it’s time to relax. In a really good way. I’ve plenty to do over the break (planning, resourcing, reading, catching up on the marking which inevitably slipped a little while I was ill), but it will be oh so luxurious not to have to be up with the lark, dressed up, and in work by 7.30.
So I’ll close for now, because I have a suitcase full of wine, books and cake to get home, and then I think the pub (or the couch!) may beckon….
Happy Holidays, all!
