Another busy week, another chance to link up with Jessica for Project Life Tuesday!
Monday, July 2nd: A late night working and marking and prepping. Always made more fun by donning my hipster glasses.
Tuesday, July 3rd: A long day at school, topped off by a two hour meeting! Then we all headed over to the Year 4 parents’ party in Notting Hill. Lovely wine and nibbles, good chat and a chance to reflect on a happy, busy year! Matthew was brave once again and came along.
Wednesday, July 4th: A fun day at the Science Museum with the boys, and arrived home to this sweet card from Matthew. He really does make me smile every day (rather like tea, then!).
Thursday, July 5th: Matthew and I met Adam and Emily for Italian food in London Bridge. So good to catch up with one of our favourite couples! The Shard building opened later that evening and there was a laser show, but by 10 pm (when the show started) I was already curled up in my PJs at home. Party animal I am not!
Friday, July 6th: A lovely bunch of flowers from a pupil, and home in time to catch the last sets of Murray’s semi-final with a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc!
Saturday, July 7th: Matthew’s birthday, chilled at home with him and his parents, who came down to visit. Food and fun and chats and a pretty sky at the end of the day.
Sunday, July 8th: A day of tennis watching and cake baking. Perfect relaxation ahead of the last few days of term…..
Looking forward to checking out everyone else’s layouts on PLT!
