Linking up with the lovely Kelly once more (albeit a little late) for her home tours series. She always encourages us to share, no matter how splendid or shabby the surroundings, so I thought I’d join in.
Our bathroom, like so much of the house, is a work in progress. We actually have two bathrooms – a cloakroom/shower room on the ground floor and our main bathroom on the first floor. The ground floor shower isn’t plumbed in properly, so we only use that bathroom for calls of nature (and the shower cubby has become something of a cupboard! We have some pretty cool medium- and long-term plans for this room though – Matthew has a brilliant plan which would rejig and reallocate three of our ground floor rooms!
Upstairs is the bathroom we use most. A simple three piece set, a fairly decent shower, and tiles. I can’t tell you what a joy it is to have a bath that we can use after the tub in the flat that had non-workable taps!
As I said, pretty run of the mill, but comfy and easy to clean (always a bonus!). On the big long list of things to do with the house this falls pretty far down, but I’m sure I’ll pick up some inspiration from other bathrooms on the tour!
