More on the cats soon, promise, but I’m having much too much fun with them this evening to write anything hugely long! We went to the shelter at 12 and picked up our trio – mummy Poppet (who’s about 18 months) and her kittens, Leela and Fry (8 weeks). Poor lovelies had been left in an empty flat for days when they were discovered. Now looking forward to spoiling them an awful lot!
Poppet is ginger/tortie/white and is very calm and likes to purr. Leela is a wee tortie, jumpy and skittish. Fry is jet black and both brave and a total fraidy-cat! So far they are being fairly happy around Matthew and I, and they are having fun exploring their new home. Thanks for all the well wishes, lovely folk!

Fry is tricky to photograph – speedy and ink black!

Poppet, contemplating where to nap next!
Welcome home, kittehs!
