Last month I introduced 9 great instagrams for book lovers to follow (pt 1), and now it feels like time for a part two. Here are some more bookfolk (writers, media outlets, publishers, journalists, bookshops, etc.) I really enjoy following on instagram…
@bretellis, the instagram of Bret Easton Ellis, is full of fun and beauty. From gorgeous skies, to current reads, tabloid hyberbole to events and thoughts, I love being able to keep up with such a talented author through his photos.
@crownpublishing is all about books, authors and literary eye candy. I love their feed!
Screenwriter @sarajbenincasa shares reads, life and funnies on her quirky and interesting insta.
@lastnightsreading, by Kate Gavino, is a constant joy – her illustrations and shares from the readings she attends are quite something. You can also purchase her work here, or check out her book, by Penguin.
I never fail to be inspired by the images which @voguemagazine shares, and they often have great features on writers and thinkers too. Well worth a follow.
The feed for @usnatarchives is ceaselessly fascinating. And as the post above shows, they are super funny too!
My dear friend Shan is the most amazing book blogger, and her insta @goodbooksandtea is always full of great reading picks, and occasional flourishes of Canadian awesomeness!
@words.n.quotes is a treasure trove of wisdom – I adore a good quote so always have time for it!
A browse around Stanfords is one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon (if not the most economical!), so it stands to reason that I’d enjoy their instagram at @stanfordstravel. Books, maps, and loveliness.
So that’s part two – do you follow any of these accounts?
